Paper Covered Round Copper Wire
Crepe Kraft Paper Insulated Copper Cables are mostly used as leading and shields in current transformers of types IMB, CT, and CVT, as well as insulation in oil-cooled transformers. Because crepe paper is 300% stronger in the machine and cross-machine directions, it is more fracturing-resistant. It can also take on different forms depending on the insulated surface. The cable is wound in 3 to 12 turns, depending on the transformer application, around FRP rings. Additionally, this is best suited as the PT windings’ lead and end wires.
